PCDPs and Training
COL_RES will provide ESRs with the highest quality doctoral training in with a particular focus upon the seven principles of Innovative Doctoral Training. ESRs will be supervised by a primary supervisor within the awarding institute as well as an advisor in order to provide fresh insights into academic work, training and personal development. Each ESR will devise a PDP that will provide a roadmap of research, training and career development goals tailored to the needs of each ESR. The goal of the PDP being to provide a planning process for the ESRs to identify their training needs and career objectives and give them the necessary tools to continue their career in the academia or industry sectors and also to meet short term needs for improving current performance.
